Gujarat Titans (GT) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) 7 wickets to claim their seventh IPL 2022 championship win, with Yuzvendra Chahal becoming the highest wicket-taker and Jos Buttler scoring most runs during TATA IPL 2022. Jos Buttler scored 863 runs across 17 matches, scoring four hundreds and four fifties while earning himself the Most Valuable Played award this season. Jos Buttler became one of four teams competing for playoffs: Gujarat Titans (GT), led by Hardik Pandya’s Mumbai Indians team captain Hardik Pandya and leading them with 20 points on the IPL 2022 point table, leading them into 14 matches which resulted in 10 wins; becoming the inaugural team from IPL 2022 qualifying for postseason play-offs!

Chennai Super Kings have won the IPL 2021 tournament. The Final match between CSK and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) was hosted in Dubai and CSK won by 27 runs to take home their fourth IPL crown.
